Coming up in May, Crazy Baldhead sound system (AKA Jay Nugent of The Slackers) will be live dubbing at a punk loft in Brooklyn. He’s going to be bringing multitracks from sessions he’s done over the years, and reworking them in fine style right before your eyes. This is a special event, and one I’m overjoyed to be a part of, especially as I make my own forays into live dubbing. I’ll be playing the heaviest and strangest dub tunes I can dig out of my crates, giving Jay some relief by assuming the role of selector on this night. Forward!
